To be considered for Uihlein Career Fund Grants, singers must apply to and be named as a finalist in the
Patricia Crump Vocal Competition. These grants are made possible by the generosity of the
Henry H. Uihlein (Sr.) and Marion (Polly) S. Uihlein Foundation, Inc.

Assistance is available for a three-year period after being named a Finalist in the Patricia Crump Vocal Competition. Grand Prize Winners must wait for a year from the competition date to apply, Encouragement Winners must wait six months from the competition date to apply. Once a singer attains management they are no longer eligible.

Grants are typically designated to assist with musical, dramatic, vocal, and language preparation for auditions, young artist programs, and professional engagements. However, other career related expenses may be considered at the discretion of the board of directors. A maximum amount of $2000 annually will be allotted for successful applications.
